The BAM Group was an integral part of a truly global project when engaged to work with Craig Gore’s WPS Racing V8 Supercar team and Team Australia open-wheel operation in the United States.
In 2005 WPS Racing entered the V8 Supercar Championship Series, with the primary aim of the project to build the profile and client base for the Wright Patton Shakespeare Financial Group and associated businesses.
One year later, the Team Australia squad was formed, exposing the Aussie Vineyards and Au wine label to the lucrative North American market – as well as many other Australian and global brands associated with the program including WPS, Atkinson Group Group (AGG), Qantas, RM Williams, VISA, GE Money and WOW Sight and Sound.
The brand of Team Australia and Aussie Vineyards also became a supporter of Marcos Ambrose in his first season of NASCAR Craftsman Truck competition.
BAM’s knowledge of both the Australian and North American markets and media industries, our experience in servicing and leveraging major sponsorships, our corporate and government relationships and our ability to work closely and productively with our client’s everyday business operations helped make this project a cohesive success on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
We played an active role in helping build the WPS brand to a point where six State offices around the country were opened two years ahead of schedule on the back on the V8 Supercar activation and the leads it generated.
The Aussie Vineyards AU brand is now regarded globally while the company has become one of the leading exporters to the US.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED FOR WPS/TEAM AUSTRALIA:
- Comprehensive management for both brands and all associated companies across two international regions (Australia and North America)
- Management of all media requirements including daily releases and the creation and distribution of things such as images, video footage, audio grabs, printed and electronic marketing materials.
- Creation and implementation of community projects
- Establishment and maintenance of three individual websites.
- Specific attention on Gold Coast Champ car/IRL event, where Team Australia was positioned as the home team – including TV strategy, political strategy, endless branding (including distribution of 10,000 Team Australia/WPS flags), coordination of media conferences.
- Creation and maintenance of data collection systems and procedures, which led to direct leads for WPS and Aussie Vineyards.
