ARMOR ALL has arrived at BAM Group as a client across BAM Media and Speedcafe due to relationships formed during the first two years of the international car care product manufacturer’s involvement in the re-born Gold Coast street race – the ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600.
The BAM Group has been the contracted agency to the Gold Coast street race for nearly 20 years through its various iterations of an international open-wheel event to now, where it is a V8 Supercars event.
Outside its remit of managing media for the event, BAM Group liaises closely with all Government departments involved with the event, along with working closely with organisers and sponsors locally, nationally and internationally to leverage their involvement.
“ARMOR ALL is involved in many different forms of sponsorship around Australia and the world and having seen the way in which the BAM Group has steered the ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600 has been impressive,” said General Manager of the Armored Group (Australian distributor for ARMOR ALL), Paul Blair.
“We got into the event on the ground level in its first year as a V8 Supercars event with international drivers and the level of confidence in the marketplace – driven largely by the BAM Group – saw year two increase not only in attendance, but awareness and interest from both here in Australia and around the world.
“The level of attention we received as the major sponsor through BAM Group saw our requests exceeded and from a media point of view, delivered exceptional results for our company in many different mediums.
“Despite the fact we weren’t a direct client of BAM Group, at every step of the way, the BAM team made us feel a part of something bigger. That is why we’re now on board.”
BAM Media is now leading a digital and social media program for ARMOR ALL in Australia. BAM Group will also continue leveraging ARMOR ALL’s involvement in its sponsorship properties in Australia.
