The BAM Group has serviced Castrol for well over 20 years and honoured to keep the relationship going to this day.

Castrol have enjoyed the full fruits of what BAM can offer across multiple brands for more than 25 years through BAM Media, BAM Vision, BAM Tours and Speedcafe.com.

Largely relied on for public relations, event and digital activations, Castrol have utilised the talented BAM Media staff to activate some of the biggest programs in the brand’s history.

While the relationship originally began in motorsport through Australian touring car racing in the early 90’s, the partnership has extended beyond the race track.

Day to day, BAM manages the Australian Castrol brand’s digital and social media profiles and accounts. As the world’s leading lubricant brand, Castrol have one of the largest online followings in the world, edging 3.5 million followers across social media platforms.

BAM have also been responsible for prestigious ‘one off’ campaign management, including the 2015 Cricket World Cup, of which, Castrol was a major presenting sponsor. The 2015 event was hosted by Australia and New Zealand across a six week period which also involved several Castrol teams from international countries attending to see how BAM operate here in Australia.

Through the years, the award-winning BAM team has launched several Castrol products, most notably the Castrol SUPERCAR and the Castrol MAGNATEC BIO-SYNTHETIC. Both involved a PR and digital strategy, effective social media content and advertising as well as leveraging Castrol’s various partnerships such as Supercars and Kelly Racing to tell the story.

First to market in Australia, Rego2Oil was introduced in 2018 and rolled out by the BAM team. This free service allowed every day car owners to look up the best Castrol product for their car based on their registration number.

BAM’s services have also extended to online with the build, design and management of the official Castrol Events portal. This is where all imagery and video content is housed from track activations, to gala dinners and exclusive Australian road trip promotions.

Through BAM’s ongoing servicing and commitment, Castrol Australia remains the leading lubricant sold in Australia with the performances through digital strategies ensuring the oil giants massive following continues to grow.
